The Billionaire’s Christmas Baby was re-released for this Christmas, so if you think it sounds familiar that is why.  This is my first novel by Victoria James and I really enjoyed it. It was as sweet, warm, make you smile kind of romance.

Hannah is a social worker and she was working with Louise, a pregnant woman who was trying to take her life back for the sake of the baby. When Hannah finds Emily, Louise’s baby on at the church she knows what has happened. Louise left a note that tells Hannah to please find her brother so he can take care of the baby.

Jackson Pierce changed his name to get away from his family and he gave up on Louise a long time ago. When feisty Hannah comes into his life telling him about the baby he want’s nothing to do with it. It’s snowing hard outside and Hannah isn’t going anywhere for a few days and she is going to use all that time to try and convince Jackson he needs to adopt his niece.

They both come very bad situations when they were children and it’s interesting to see how each of them reacted to that hurt and pain. Hannah becomes a social worker to make sure other children get the care they need while Jackson hardens himself and builds a billion dollar company with a friend and shuts out his old life.

With a blizzard blaring outside and no chance of Hannah going home any time soon she is going to use all of this time to convince Jackson to adopt his niece. What she didn’t expect was the sexual tension that she faces when he is near. Hannah doesn’t trust men and really wants nothing to do with them, so she can’t believe that Jackson of all people would be one to make her feel like getting to know a man.

Jackson doesn’t want to feel anything as he has locked up his feelings, but the longer Hannah and Emily are in his house the more he feels his resolve slipping. Hannah was just wanting Jackson to adopt his niece, she never thought she would find someone to love.

The Billionaire’s Christmas Baby is a fast one day read that I was glad to have the chance to read with the Holiday coming. I love Christmas books, but Christmas books with babies are always much more fun! It is definitely a romance to warm your heart.  I will definitely be checking out more of Victoria James’s books in the future.

I would recommend it for anyone who loves contemporary romances.
